Whether they do it to create mystery and sculpt an esoteric public image (like Ozzie Osborne, KISS and Alice Cooper did), or whether they're doing it because they actually worship Baphomet is impossible to say. As Elaborama said, it's likely they're pawns of the Illuminati, though.
