Absolutely. "Be A Pro" creates the need to have a favorite team in each league.
Without FIFA, i would only follow the MLS and only be a fan of RSL (based only on geography).
I still don't have favorite teams in most European leagues, but the exposure to the teams from FIFA (the game) has made me more aware of teams and players in Europe and i'm slowly developing favorites.
