For years I have felt that BYU has one major fatal flaw
We always seem to have great guards, good wing guys, and one good big guy. The reason BYU does not consistently win games against P5 caliber teams is our lack of depth and athleticism in the paint. For years, we have generally had 1 good big guy (Plaisted, Arujo, Miles, Davies, Mika) Unfortunately 1 good big guy isn't enough to beat these teams. Most P5 caliber programs have 4-5 athletic guys that just destroy us on the boards and make life difficult for us to score in the paint.

I am hopeful that in a couple years Mika, Dalstrup, Aytes might finally give us the ability to compete down low with P5 teams
