I agree Neilson should get way more but the minutes should come from Nixon, Sharp, Worthington and Andrus. I'm not sure why we didn't just redshirt Andrus. I think more minutes for Kaufusi have to be looked at as a medium range investment that will pay off later this season. I agree he's not quite there yet but playing time will get him there quicker than will sitting on the bench. We need him to get there quicker.

Halford just can't defend out on the perimeter. He has the slowest reaction time. I think he can help give some minutes at the point but Kyle better get used to sitting and resting for, like, 2 minutes at a time before going back in. Halford has shown a nice ability to move the ball and find guys in scoring position.

Nixon also has slow reaction time on D but at times he has shown good court awareness and played good help D. I just think the bigger and more intense the game the more he just gets lost. Toolson, otoh, looks really good on both ends of the floor. He's smooth shooting the ball and exudes confidence for a guy right out of high school. I agree he should get more minutes, I just don't know where they'd come from.

ONe guy you didn't mention is Frank Bartley and he's another where I don't know where he'd get any more minutes from but I'd like to see him get some more time. I still think he has a valuable role on the team as a change of pace guy and as a stat sheet stuffer. He's just terrible shooting from the outside. ON a per minute basis he's a team leader in a lot of categories.
