Kaufusi is very green, but I don't recall a BYU player with his physical gifts
Austin is the very solid role player he was recruited to be and a great team mate and influence in the locker room.

Worthington has made solid strides and works very hard. Never discount the impact of hard work. I have hopes he will continue to improve, both within this season and during the off season.

Nielsen was one of 3 LDS bigs in his HS class. The other from Texas committed to Creighton. The third from Indiana committed to Navy. Nielsen is a great example of Rose being a wonderful evaluator of talent and potential. Nielsen is blossoming into the best of the three.

Ain't it wonderful to contemplate that a starter from this year's team may be pushed to the bench by better players next year. That is the best indication of improvement, when a returning player gets pushed to the bench by a better player who is junior in eligibility. Davis, Aytes, and Hartsock all have skills that would earn time on this year's teams.

This team is better than last year's team, and the future looks very bright. Rose will have some very talented players who will really have to fight to see the floor.
