if we are going to judge Tyler by the actual last second shot of a game most players in basketball history aren't going to fair well.
I was critical of Tyler some last year when he disappeared at times against the Gonzaga's of the world. Truth, he was getting pulverized in those games and that comes into play.
But I challenge you to look at the second halves, the last 10 minutes and the last 5 minutes of games - I can almost assure you that his free throw percentage is better, his field goal percentage is better, his three point percentage is better. We look at the second overtime against SDSU when he had already carried a huge load - he made some epic shots to get us to overtime and in the first overtime. That we are mad he missed a few shots in the second overtime after playing almost 50 minutes is simply not fair.
I even think KC is the best player on the team most of the time - but Haws is extremely good. And I would still rather have him shooting the ball in crunch time than anyone else on the team.
