Don't know why CBers, year after year, underrate the WCC when the pros who rank the conferences see it this year as stronger than conferences that routinely get 3+ bids.
BTW, with Haws, KC, Austin, and Aytes all ailing or completely out, i think it may be a long shot for BYU to run the table or even finish in the top 3, given the strength of the conference. Just saying, if BYU or SMC or some other team, runs the WCC table (ex Gonzaga), that team is easily in. The conference can't lose the RPI/SOS it has built in the OOC once WCC play begins. The MWC and the AAC (UConn, SMU) are more likely to be limited to a single bid than the WCC.
Every team in the WCC will have 7 quality road games. ANY team that wins 6 of those will get a bid.
More and more smart people follow Pomeroy's rankings now, which imo, are the most objective.
