I'm afraid that after Maui, I more or less wrote the season off as being decent at best. Not because we lost two games, but because of the fundamental flaws in the team that were exposed (defense not improved much, depth not what we had hoped, and complete lack of a low-post scoring threat). Those just aren't going to be fixed over the next three months, IMO, which means that we are (once again) a bubble team at best. It's a shame to waste Haws' senior season like this, but at this point I don't see it going much better than that.
Don't get me wrong, I would love it if we went 2-1 (and I'd be ecstatic if we went 3-0) over these next three games. I just don't think we have what it takes to beat top-tier teams.
