As a Utah fan, it was somewhat frustrating to finally see the offense do things that we wished they had done for the whole year...misdirection plays, McCormick to the outside and to spell Booker, McClellon as a 3rd WR target in addition to Scott and Clay, and solid O Line play.

If you watched Utah play this year, you know that the defense really limped into the Colorado game. The injuries finally caught up and they were starting a lot of young players with very little experience. They came into this game fresh and prepared and it really showed. It looked much closer to the Utah defense from the first half of the season when they were dominant.

Finally, I think Whit has proven that he knows how to prepare teams for bowl games. When the sideline reporter asked him what he was most pleased with after this game, he said the pre-bowl preparation. I think he is pleased with that because it's his responsibility to get the team ready for this game and they did what he asked and demanded.
