Roger Reid's teams played him even. Reid was fired and BYU went through the

wilderness with the 1-25 season and having to rebuild after that. During that stretch Majerus dominated. But it was the worst stretch of BYU basketball in the last 75 years. Majerus' dominance was not over even decent BYU teams. And he did not cause BYU to be bad.
