As with Baron above, I get paid to be that guy in my company and I do quite well. I am not a lawyer, but have stewardship over the working capital of the business and sometimes have to be the adult in the room. Just because someone is likable doesn't mean they shouldn't be replaced or is in the wrong seat on the bus, or that a good idea should be pursued. Good, many times, is the enemy of great (see Elder Oaks talk) and I feel BYU is just good right now. That may be fine with some of you, but I get tired of it after a while; however, don't confuse that with supporting BYU because I always will. I can be critical but still support something.
