I heard a lot of people knock Kai nacua today. Ya he effed up big time and gave the school a black eye as bad as the one he got.

However, those here throwing him under the bus are no better.

Here is a young kid in a highly emotional high testosterone situation where he believes his teammates are being "attacked" for lack of a better word. The kid inserts himself into a bad situation, gets his butt handed to him and then makes a poor choice of cheap shotting a guy who may or may not have deserved it.

Anyone who has competed at a high level in a tense situation knows it doesn't take make for things to get out of hand. I hope Kai takes this and grows from it. I hope BYU gives him a chance to right his wrong and work his way back.

Maybe I'm a little easier on the kid because my own sons name is Kai. But in the off chance he reads this, you have a lot of cougar fans pulling for you and supporting you.
