When I was in elementary school we played football every day at recess (I was a terrific slot receiver). One day, the uncle of one kid visited and tossed the ball around with us. He was a second or third string quarterback for the Washington Redskins, and before he left he autographed our football.
The problem was that we had two footballs in our equipment box, and he signed the one good one. And the Principal took our ball and put it in our school's trophy case. We were relegated to playing kickball.
