(Duke, Kentucky, etc.) Most teams fluctuate depending on how things come together, which includes injuries, chemistry, luck, etc. What I'm saying is that BYU's baseline has been consistently above average and occasionally we have teams that do extremely well. All it takes a a couple good recruits, which we get, and some good coaching, which we have.

Perhaps we are saying the same thing, but you seem to have a very downer attitude about it. We are a strong program that is always good, and sometimes great.
