I like him a lot. And obviously he knows how to put a team together. This isn't like that FSU team where they happened to win the NC a few years after that big time recruiting class. He's done a lot with less.
I like what guys like Mullen have done and NOW the bigger recruits are rolling in.

Yet whiners pull the "well BYU is BYU and we'll never compete at a higher level." Nobody is expecting a NC, but better coaching and a better culture would absolutely perform better. It's an old, tired excuse. Not to mention it completely ignores the higher level BYU already HAS played at.
