was his first book. Also The Firm is incredible, so much better than the movie, which left out many details and has a crappy tacked-on ending.
His "Ford County" book of short stories is well done. He also has 3 great sports themed novels - Playing For Pizza, Bleachers, & Calico Joe. I didn't like the political undertones of The Chamber or The Confession, but they're still worth a read. Also I thought that The Racketeer (another recent one) was really good.
