Covey prepped against average to below average defenses for the past several years while enjoying the benefits of an above average supporting cast and as result was able to create above average recruiting videos/do above average things on the field.

No matter which in-state school he chose he would have to live up to insane expectations placed on him by largely Utah resident fan bases, without the same above average supporting cast (This board and all the insanity surrounding his decision is evidence enough Ute Fans already see this kid streaking down the sideline for 6 points). Utes, Cougs, Aggies are all pretty average options and aren't going to turn a 5'9/165lb speedster into the freak he was able to be playing HS football in Utah surrounded by maybe the best core of HS talent ever in the state.

I wish for his sake he'd gone to Harvard and eliminated the pressure altogether while getting the best launching pad for his future (Rivals shows they offered a scholly).

That being said I hope he stays healthy at the U and can handle the blows FBS football hands out week to week.
