I have this feeling that this next season will be Bronco's last...
Look... Bronco is a great guy, very good family man and an absolute top of the line example of what an LDS member should be. I respect him a lot... quite a bit actually, for the man he is. I know I'm labeled a Bronco hater... absolutely the furthest thing from the truth. I have a ton of respect for the guy and I do want him to win because he is one of the good guys... I'm a big fan of the good guys winning. I just don't think it's going to happen, and a lot of that is because I think that Bronco has kind of created these self imposed rules and idea's that I understand why he won't budge or bend on them... but they are just rules and idea's that are simply unrealistic in today's college football world and are just unnecessary.

I have this bad feeling about next year... the schedule is tough... you have your top QB coming off a pretty bad injury... but one that he should be able to come back and play at full strength come even in spring ball. But he has missed a lot of time to workout and better his craft.

Then you have your top RB coming back from an injury that a lot of players just don't come back from very well at all. Look at Jordan Johnson and his injury and how that effected his play... he was never the same player again. Now JWill could come back from it and be great... but it's not something that is easy to do.

You have the cloud over the program right now of the last thing that people saw of BYU Football... the fight. You have a fan base that is pretty upset... alumni base that just isn't excited about things and some of which are sending their kids to other schools to play football.

Bronco just seems to be flat exhausted at the end of the year, every year.... it seems to be straining him even more lately than it did 7 or 8 years ago. You have a survey being sent out to the fans about how the fans feel about the program, that's never a good sign. Based on rumors, there were talks between admin and coaches that didn't go so well. And it did have an appearance that Bronco was starting to look around at other jobs.

I just have this feeling that this will be Bronco's last year... I wouldn't be surprised if he left on his own and either took a year or 2 off... or took a lesser head coaching job at a smaller school or something where the pressures aren't of the same magnitude as they are at BYU... and he can get away with his quirks when dealing with the fans and media.

I just can't see Bronco wanting to do this all over again, after next year... because of this last season and what this off season is going to bring. If the attendance is as bad as I think it will be come fall... I'm not sure Bronco will have much of a choice.
