This appears to be the remaining uncommitted players
1) Gabe Reid - It's between Stanford and BYU. He's already qualified for Stanford and is said to be leaning towards Stanford. The Stanford coaches including LDS coach Anderson did their in home visit with Gabe last night. The good news is that he will be at this weekend's BYU official visit and is still uncommitted, which makes him still in play. He's close friends with Britain Covey who just committed to Utah, but he wasn't happy about their coaching changes (Sitake to Oregon State).

2) Dayan Lake - Ever since his decommit, Dayan has honed in on 2 schools: UNLV and SDSU. He's visited both schools and explored those two options. At the end of the week, he is expected to be on the BYU official visit. I think he ends up back in the BYU fold on signing day.

3) Mufi Hunt - This is the 6'6" defensive end from Taylorsville who has mission plans and is a good BYU fit off the field. In BYU's system, he is probably a linebacker (or a 4-3 end). He is very highly recruited with offers from Oregon and Oklahoma. He just got back from an official visit to Michigan State and is visiting Oregon State today. Despite the offers, he will be on campus for the BYU official visit this weekend.

4) Zach Hoyt - He is the LDS all-state center from Virginia with offers from BYU, Virginia Tech, and Pitt. The Virginia Tech offer came late (on Tuesday), so he might need time to evaluate it. He's expected to be on campus for this weekend's official visit.

5) Trevor Brent - This is the non-LDS DB prospect from Texas. This appears to be a 2 horse race between Boise State and BYU. He will be on this weekend's official visit. I'd be surprised if he doesn't commit to BYU.

6) JJ Nwigwe - This is a non-LDS offensive lineman from Texas. His other offers besides BYU are SMU, Nevada, Cal, Kansas, and New Mexico State. He is scheduled to be on this weekend's official visit list.

7) Jacob Jimenez - This is another non-LDS offensive lineman from Texas who is currently committed to Oregon State. The coaches are making a late push for him with a couple of in home visits. He may also be on campus this weekend. This would be a good flip for BYU considering the lack of depth on the Oline next season.
