Peer to Peer lending. Looks encouraging but how liquid is it?

I was scanning prosper's site and couldn't find how long your principal would be tied up. I know you receive payments into your account each month but can you get your principal back at any point or is it tied up for the life of the loan?

FolioFn is used to trade Prosper notes, so you yes, you can liquidate fairly
