Well, we itemized about $8,000 dollars for state taxes last year, and the amount
we ended up owing for state taxes was around $8,000 dollars, so we only would have gotten 284. If we have to pay taxes on the 5,000 credit that is dumb. A tax credit shouldn't be considered taxable income.
