It is an incredibly positive and fun environment all over the Puget Sound.

This past Thursday everybody at work wore their Seahawks gear. We have several pictures of different parts of the company with hundreds of people all dressed in their gear.

Yesterday I dropped my daughter at her work at Southcenter Mall and then spent the afternoon there. Everyone one was wearing something - jerseys, hats, scarfs, coats, pants, shirts, gloves, etc, etc. One of the cool things there is at that mall as a caucasian I am in the minority there. There are huge asian, hispanic, black, polynesian, etc. populaces. Other times of the year you will see them wear the colors and uniforms of their representative countries. But at this time of the year - we all come together as Seahawks fans. It is very invigorating to be in it.

Today at Church probably a third to a half of the people that came to church wore blue & green of some sort (sweaters, ties, bowties, skirts, blouses, etc). One mother with a couple of daughters all had their hair tied up with blue and green ribbons.

It is a great environment to be in - we all come together and are united for a common cause. I wish every fanbase could experience what we are currently experiencing.

Even more - I look for the day when BYU has a team that is so good and such a great example that everyone comes together behind - even for the whole Church. What a great feeling that would be.
