Kaufusi and Nielsen looked good last summer against Worthington and Sharp?
Well of course they did. Too bad that Austin and Aytes went down with injuries. We went from a below average D1 front line to a poor front line. But, as Anson Winder has shown (and he is not the first) you can improve a bunch in 4 years. Its too early to know how good the frosh bigs will or will not be. One of the keys is to have enough bigs in the program that if one or two don't develop, there are still a couple of others who do. I am still excited for the return of Mika and entrance of Dastrup when BYU could still have Worthington Sr., Davis, Sr., Aytes Sr., Kaufusi Jr., Nielsen Jr., Mika Soph, Hartsock, Soph. and Dastrup Frosh. Give enough bigs enough time to develop, and BYU could have a very good front line for a number of years.
