I'm a huge fan of Omnifocus. I use it as a comprehensive task management
system in my law practice. It duplicates the functionality of much more expensive systems.

The things I love:
--I have my projects broken down for each of the cases I have.
--Repeating tasks, focusing on important items, etc.
--I can forward emails directly to Omnifocus and they show up in my inbox as a to-do task
--It's extremely customizable.

The drawbacks:

1. The upfront cost isn't cheap. There are cheaper solutions, but they don't have the same feature set.

2. The learning curve is somewhat steep. In addition to buying Omnifocus, I actually paid for "Asian Efficiency Premium Posts" which contains sort of a self-training course. It cost something like $80, but was well worth it for me to have a proper setup and process in productivity and task management. If you look at it as training, it's well worth it. https://store.asianefficiency.com/omnifocus-premium-posts/

3. Like any task management system, you have to actually use it to get the benefit of it.

If you are willing to work the system, it's fantastic. If you want something very simple and basic, it's not the right product.
