BYU was well on their way to the dance that year so we didn't really need it but what that one did for me was show me that we were as good as any team in the nation and it gave me hope of a NC. Then the Davies thing happened.

With this one, it was a higher ranked team and it probably sent us to the tourney. Also, with people saying that Rose can't do anything without Jimmer, this shuts them up, at least for a week. For the near future of BYU bball, with all the youth currently on the team and the talented recruits that will soon be on the team, this one is pretty big.
