who has stepped up big time the last few games and has made himself into a player that other teams have to account for. Watching him last year I didn't think he'd do much this year, but he has become an invaluable role player. He looks like the quickest player on the BYU team causing matchup problems for other teams particularly when they have to honor his outside shot. He seems to get around his man rather easily when he has his shot going. I don't think BYU could get away with the 4 guard lineup if Halford hadn't stepped up and we'd be stuck trying to matchup with Gonzaga's taller lineup.
