The WCC and the MVC both play their conference tourneys the weekend prior to selection Sunday. They should sign a deal where the school that finishes #1 in each conference play each other the Saturday before selection Sunday. Also the #2s, #3s and so on.

Gonzaga would be playing Wichita State
BYU would be playing Northern Iowa
etc...

These games would give each team an opportunity to boost RPIs the day before selection Sunday as well as keep participants fresh and playing a high level of bball.
