I'm willing to bet that those people are not taking advantage of cloud storage and other options. I'm also willing to bet that Samsung (along with Apple, Google, Amazon, and most other major tech players) realize that cloud storage is much cheaper and the way of the future, hence removing the option for expandable storage.
