I didn't like it either. And the reason is demonstrated perfectly when the shot
clock ran out.
They don't practice it. They're not used to it. The rarely have to worry about the shot clock when they run normal offense. Rose put them in an unfamiliar position in such an important moment. The reason nobody realized the shot clock was running out, is because they don't ever have to worry about it.
But, hey, they won. That's all that matters.
