Pepperdine, this would probably have been a different conversation. POYs lead their team to the big wins. While KC was exceptional, and huge in the Gonzaga game, I have a hard time finding fault in the conference selecting Pangos here. Who was the guy who closed out the Cougars in the MC? He has done it so many times, and that's why Gonzaga is as good as they are. KC needs to come back next year and close the deals he was unable to close this year. Then there will be no discussion on who the POY should be.
