My experience with most journalists has uniformly been bad across the board. They are ruthless and cutthroat, with no consideration with who they hurt to "get the story", and "get it first". Focus is on getting out a story first, with as much dramatics as possible, and apologize later if they got it wrong in the first place. Easier to say they are sorry after the damage is done, and they don't feel bad about it. Their egos can be quite consuming.
