I think that is the kind of thing Dennis Lindsey was talking about when he said other players and agents will see the pieces coming together in Utah and it will make them a more attractive destination.

Tomic has gotten comparisons to Pau Gasol for a long time. I think he looks more like Marc Gasol on offense. His passing ability gets highlighted a lot in articles talking about his value to his team. I don't think he'll be nearly the defensive player either of the Gasol brothers are, but it looks like he could really thrive offensively in Coach Snyder's scheme. He's already 28 years old and has been playing in the best Euro league for years, so he should be able to step right in and contribute immediately. He is 7'2". He could easily play on the court with Favors. The length in the paint would be crazy if they could make a Gobert/Tomic combo work against certain teams.
