Most comedians are liberals. There isn't anything wrong with that.
Stewart just went above and beyond when he turned the Daily Show into a political machine. Colbert won't be funny on the Late Show. IMHO he doesn't have the personality for a talk show so I expect he will just do more of what he did on the Daily Show.
