This is a 19 year old kid who was playing against Australian High School level competition a year ago. He has never played anything close to an NBA season before, and has just taken one of the fastest and largest leaps in competition level in NBA history. We talk a lot about how hard it is for Missionaries to do what they are asked to do at 18 or 19 years old, and it is hard, but remember for a second that this kid is the same age, across the world from his home, competing against the very best in the world at what he does. Give him a year or two to adapt before you question his manhood or call him a wasted draft pick.
