(Couldn't decide I'd I should put this under tech or mlb)
I noticed that the channel updated within the last couple days (different layout on the main screen, etc), and since then, game video won't play, live or archived.
When I click on a game, then either choose 'start from beginning' or 'jump to inning' then choose an inning, it pulls up the screen where the 'retrieving' progress bar pulls up, loads completely (at least, the bar fills completely with the lovely roku purple color), but never leaves that screen, never plays any video. Interestingly, from there if you push the rewind or fastforward button, it changes the bar at the bottom to the video progress bar, showing the length of the game, but once you push play again, the progress bar comes back up, and fills like before, but never does anything, no matter where on the video progress bar you rewind to.
Sometimes, after leaving it a while, the roku becomes unresponsive and auto-resets.
Any audio of games works fine, as does all the rest of the app/channel functionality, so it makes me think it's just a video loading issue.
There hasn't been any video issue with any other channels, however (Mickey and his clubhouse pals are going strong!), so I don't think it's the roku itself. It also worked fine earlier in spring training, before the most recent update. Still, I've power cycled the roku, uninstalled and reinstalled the channel, switched from wired to wifi, all the level 1 tech support suggestions.
I realize it's only spring training, but I'd like to fix any issues before opening day. Any suggestions? Anybody having the same problem? TIA!
