**Biggest thing: help the student body develop some love and unity by projecting the AWAY games on a big screen from a really cool location on campus and outdoors (near a fountain, with grass that you can set up chairs and lay out blankets--make for a nice date) for students and faculty to view the games--think World Cup style where hundreds of people that don't know each other gather to cheer their team on.--> then do a huge dance, water balloon fight, etc. (fun activity) during halftime**
-Bring a lucky student onto the field for a field goal kick at a schollie or food
-Do a free food item one game between quarters (not halftime).
-There are those students that likely aren't into yelling or clapping the entire time, so hand out free vuvuzelas, cougar bells, etc. (noise-makers) to the student section to give something to those that want to make sound with as little effort possible.
-Do free food/gear for those that dress up in the funniest costume or bring the funniest sign.
-Develop some great chants.
-Somehow provide them with a way to feel truly a part of the team (a 12th man so to speak)--it could be sweat bands, towels, fake headphones (like the coaches wear), etc.
-I know there are a lot of extremely talented individuals at BYU that are not bashful at all, so maybe there could be a platform near the student section that can be used between quarters called the dance off, or rock band competition where they get on a stage w/ smoke & play against each other while it's streamed on the big board.
-Fireworks make attending games worth it.
-Making a concert a part of the game could be worth it as well--do the concert after the game as part of an after-game party. Or, There could be an after-game party for students to go to continue the festivities and deepen the unity.
