Without defense, we will probably never go anywhere in the tournament. Our offense was high scoring and efficient this year, but we lost most of our close games because we couldn't play defense. There was talk of greater emphasis in defense in the off season. For whatever reason that did not translate to the basketball floor. I would speculate that some of the problem is culture and the other part is personnel limitations.
