Owned an '83 Celica from 1993 to 2007. Paid 2K for the car.

Started with 117,000 miles. Ended with about 205,000. I had to do some repairs, like the clutch and alternator. Overall, the car saved me a ton of money when I was young, which I invested. Now, I'm much better positioned to retire young, in part due to that car.
