I had a companion who said he was being recruited by Oregon and USC ...
A 5'10" 190 flabby MLB? Ya ... Doubt it.
After several weeks of serving with him I finally got him to admit "being recruited by Oregon and USC" really meant Oregon and USC scouts were at a game he happened to be playing in. They weren't there for him.
