Since 2008, Bronco is 6-7 in road games vs. P5 opponents. This doesn't count the win at Houston (which was in a "BCS" conference at the time) and the Oklahoma game (which was neutral site). The 10 years prior to Bronco we were 4-10. In the 20 years prior we were 6-18.
Granted, none of Bronco's wins came against great teams, but beating great major conference teams on the road has been an almost impossible challenge for BYU. Since Lavell took over, BYU is 2-19 vs. in road games vs. major conference teams who have lost 4 games or fewer in that season. The only win vs. a major conference team with 3 or fewer losses came against Arizona St. in 1997.
I'm hopeful for 2-2.
