he lulls defenders to sleep often as he is dribbling slowly toward the basket, then he explodes forward and as the defender hustles to recover he backs it off slow again. This creates spaces often, and as you mentioned, when his shot is falling he's deadly. Other times he can work through the paint at 2/3 full speed and can switch directions on a dime. That ability to quickly side step one way or the other is a huge reason why he gets to the line so much. Defenders struggle to stay out of his way when he does that. He's a very talented guy.
