Bronco has made it as clear as can be, including a press release, that he is in charge of the defense and will be game-planning, coaching a position group, and calling plays during the game. Howell will coach the DBs, and will run the defense during the week if/when Bronco is busy taking care of head coach duties. Howell may have the title, but it's Bronco's defense.
