My wife worked as a CNA toward the end of her under-graduate degree. Some schools required 2000 hours of patient care. It equals 1 year full time somewhere. I personally would hate be a CNA working assisted living but my wife was good at it and always seemed to have a smile on her face.
Check into some Community HeLth Centers for shadowing. Usually, these places qualify for the loan repayment program, depending on where they are located.
