interesting tidbit: dogs pick absorbent surfaces to relieve themselves on
irregardless of the bodily fluid they're ejecting...
So, when you're training a dog to go outside to use the bathroom, you put them on a linoleum/tile/hardwood floor and they'll go wherever the rug or newspaper is located.
