Lots of steakhouses - most are similar I think.
My favorite is Del Friscos in Midtown. go with the bone-in filet.... and make sure to order bacon as an appetizer.
Crowd is business guys in suit jackets ...
Peter Lugers is great but is a schlep to get to and only takes cash.

Le Bernardin is hard to beat. Crowd is a mix between couples and expense account types. From time to time this is labelled the best restaurant in the world...

Jean George is probably too pricey but Nougatine is one of my favorites...
