well developed as some of the other currently popular fantasy authors. Not that his writing is poor, and it gets better with each new book, but some consider his writing to be juvenile compared to some of his contemporaries, such as Martin and Abercrombie. That being said I love his books, flaws and all, and I look forward to each new release.
