Always wait for the first Service Pack. I never tried Windows 8, but I honestly
prefer Windows 8.1 to Windows 7 (quicker, more stable).
I never had to go through the growing pains of XP, Vista, and 8 (although I did try 7 from Beta, which was actually quite good in that state....but 7 was always a reskinned Vista to begin with..)
So in short, don't fret TNT, just don't upgrade until they fix that "feature".
