pick it all, all cars were gone from the rental inventory. All that was left was a mini-van, a 1/2 ton Dodge pick-up, and a suburban. The policy of the rental place was to give the next available level of vehicle for the same price as the quoted vehicle. I chose the suburban. The rental agent did say his manager would ask for some nominal amount for the upgrade, so I agreed to pay a buck or two per day.

Sorry you are stuck with a vehicle that would fit three or four times over in my rental vehicle.
