appointment with our bishop, and told him that she had a 'prompting' that she had 1 month left. She asked him what he thought she should prioritize. She was in decent health and he didn't take it very seriously, but gave her some advice as best he could. Sure enough, she passed away from a sudden heart attack about a month later.
For my calling I worked closely with her husband. He clearly struggled with her passing. However, he said she had been warning him daily that she was about to die for the previous two weeks. At first he didn't take her seriously, but with her persistence he started taking it seriously and he randomly took the last few days off from work to spend all day with her before she passed away. He said that made it much easier.
I've had the bishop and the widower tell me their stories independently in private. It's kind of hard for me to wrap my head around.
