But he is certainly staking a claim. Troy Tulowitzki seems to always need the disclaimer "when healthy", although he's played pretty much this whole year. I also think Correa's probably a better defensive player than Tulo. Andrelton Simmons is by far the best defender of the lot, but there's no doubt that Correa will be a better hitter.
Not a lot of other competition at the position. The funny thing is, when the Astros drafted Correa with the #1 pick, a lot of people derided them for going with a "signability" pick, thinking that they basically selected him because he would sign cheap. Astros look pretty darn smart now.
